The future of A1GP. It seems the future of A1GP is not as certain as once thought. In a nut shell, following a long procedure, the Court Appointed A1 Grand Prix Operations Ltd [A1GPOL] Administrator now has control of all the assets and plans to sell them as a series to the highest bidder on behalf of A1GPOL’s Creditors. Whether this will be by sealed bids or a form of auction we have no idea. More information is on the way...

London, 25 September. A1GP World Cup of Motorsport will be starting Season Five in just over a month with the Nikon SuperGP on 22 to 25 October and a financial restructuring has been put in place to secure its long term future.

The Prime Minister of the Netherlands, Jan Peter Balkenende, has today announced A1GP World Cup of Motorsport will race in his country for the fourth time in Season Five. However, it will be new territory for the series when it visits the Assen track on 14-16 May 2010.
